Artist Led
ROy NACHUM
Roy Nachum is the artist behind the design, construction, and creative vision of Mercer Labs. Renowned for his experimental artistic practice, Nachum examines human perception by pushing the frontiers of artistic expression.
His work often features Braille poetry in relief, and the subject of a child with a gold crown covering their eyes. The Crown Kid symbolizes "blindness" born from displaced values and desires, while Braille enables tactile interaction.

Is Mercer Labs ADA accessible?
Yes, Mercer Labs is fully ADA accessible and service animal friendly.
Is there a coat check?
Mercer Labs does not currently offer coat check services
How long does it take to go through the museum?
Most guests spend about 60-90 minutes in the museum.
Are restrooms available?
Yes, there are men’s and women's restrooms on the first floor and an all gender restroom on the lower level.
Can I get a refund for my tickets?
All sales are final, although we will gladly reissue your ticket for another date or time.
What items are prohibited from Mercer Labs?
Mercer Labs does not permit outside food or beverages. Weapons of any kind are also prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to glass bottles, flammable substances, and knives of any kind, including pen knives, switchblades, and swiss army knives.
